POSITION SUMMARY
Our client needs a Media Monitoring Officer who can provide comprehensive strategic communication functions. The Media Monitoring & PR Officer is directly responsible for maintaining and updating information on the company’s website, building and sustaining good relationships between the company and its customers through public relations activities. This role leads to a strong professional working relationship between the company and key stakeholders.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
o Provide leadership in the achievement of objectives through the provision of a comprehensive strategic communication functions.
o Building and sustaining good relationships between the Company and its customers through planned publicity campaigns and public relations activities.
o Foster and maintain strong professional working relationships with key stakeholders to understand and meet their communication requirements and manage their expectations.
o Providing clients with information on the trend of events in the Company through Customer Consultative Council meetings.
o Maintaining and updating information on the Company’s website
o Create and maintain social media presence
o To spearhead PR activities and improve media monitoring

QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS)
Qualification:     Bachelor Degree Minimum, Post Graduate degree; NIPR (Nigerian Institute of Public Relations) NUJ (Nigerian Union of Journalist)
Experience:        3 - 5 years increasingly responsible professional experience      
Competence:    Ability to prioritise and plan effectively. Computer literacy and excellent organizational planning & & communication skills"
