POSITION SUMMARY
Our client needs a Co-ordinator who can handle the annual planning, and forecast processes of the company. The Co-ordinator, Financial Planning & Budgeting is directly responsible for developing the annual plan, track and provide support for ongoing financial forecasts. This role leads to the establishment of continuous improved financial planning, analysis and reporting standards.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate the company’s annual planning and forecast processes.
  • Develop and maintain management reporting to track performance toward key financial and operational metrics.
  • Analyze financial performance to budget/forecast and provide insight into underlying drivers.
  • Support decisions made by the department head and BU managers by providing financial and quantitative insight into complex circumstances.
  • Provide support in developing the annual plan and ongoing financial forecasts.
  • Understand, track and communicate key assumptions and inputs to plan/forecast.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations typically related to but not limited to profitability, equipment and other assets.
  • Analyse cost and recommend treatment for unusual variances.
  • Operational analysis such as cash collections, ROI, cash flow margins, performance vs plan etc.
  • Support all aspects of financial planning and analysis.
  • Review key initiatives and assess risk to concept expectations.
  • Continuously improve financial reporting and analytical tools and processes.
  • Support the Excom team to manage the business.
  • Manage budget of PHED and 10 IBCs (Profit Centres)
  • Oversee Inventory and  Fixed Asset Accounting
  • Act as Custodian of Regulatory and internal processes for budget compliance
  • Act as custodian of PHED Dashboard
  • Manage Master Data of ERP

  • Deliver 5 years Budget financial statement
180 Day Milestone
  • Deliver Budget for 2016 (PHED & 10 IBCs)
QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS)
Qualification
: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Relevant professional certifications are desirable. A professional certificate such as ICAN, and/or ACCA is required.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years experiences working in financial planning, treasury, cost and tax management in a reputable organization.
Competence: Ability to prioritize and multi-task in fast paced, changing environment. Knowledge of industry Principles and Concepts. Business Planning and Management. Excellent understanding of relevant finance principles: Time value of money, cost and revenue drivers, analysis of profitability (ROI). Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage.
